About Us

AutoJunctions is an independent automotive publication built on one belief: car advice should come from people who actually know cars, not content farms chasing clicks.

We cover the full spectrum of the automotive experience, from the moment you start researching a purchase to the day-to-day reality of owning, maintaining, and driving. Every article on this site is written by a specialist in their lane, not a generalist covering everything.

Who We Are

Liam MillerVehicle Reviews

Liam is a road test journalist who has driven over 400 production vehicles across the past decade. He’s done track days in performance sedans, cross-country runs in full-size pickups, and 18-hour endurance loops in economy cars to stress-test long-distance comfort. He reviews all vehicle types: gas, hybrid, and electric.

Liam believes most car reviews fail readers because they describe specifications instead of experiences. He writes about what a vehicle feels like, communicates, and demands — and whether that contract is worth signing.

Daniel RodriguezOwnership Costs & Maintenance

Daniel is an ASE-certified master technician turned automotive writer with 20 years of shop experience before he picked up a keyboard. He’s diagnosed transmission failures at 40,000 miles, rebuilt suspension components on 15-year-old trucks, and watched owners spend double what they needed to because no one told them the simple stuff beforehand.

His writing exists to close the information gap between the shop and the driveway. Daniel writes for the owner who wants to understand what’s happening under the hood — not necessarily to fix it themselves, but to make smarter decisions about when, where, and how to get it done.

Kyle BrownEV & Charging

Kyle is a former battery systems engineer at a Tier 1 EV supplier who left to write full-time after realizing most EV journalism was either breathless hype or uninformed scepticism.

He covers the EV ecosystem, charging infrastructure, battery technology, home energy, incentives, and range reality — not individual vehicle reviews. Kyle spent years inside the technology before writing about it, and he’s deliberately learned to write for people who haven’t.

Sophie JonesBuying Guide

Sophie is a consumer automotive journalist and former dealership finance manager who spent 8 years on the inside before switching sides. She now writes for buyers, not sellers.

Her lived experience on the dealer floor means she knows exactly where buyers lose money, and she writes to close that knowledge gap. Sophie has sat across the desk from thousands of buyers and watched them get confused by payment-focused framing, add-on packages, and trade-in lowballs.

Olivia GarciaRoad Trips

Olivia is a travel and automotive journalist who has driven more than 60,000 road trip miles across North America, East Africa, and Western Europe.

She writes about vehicles as tools for access — the right one opens up routes and experiences, the wrong one closes them off. Olivia covers road trip planning, towing, overlanding, family travel, and adventure driving. She writes for people planning real trips, not hypothetical ones.

Our Editorial Standards

Every article on AutoJunctions cites real sources, uses current data, and helps you make a better decision — not sell you something. We do not accept sponsored content or manufacturer payments that influence editorial coverage. When we recommend something, it’s because the data and experience support it.
